How long is too long?

I've been waiting a number of years for Deluxe to release their Monon AAR standard 53'6" flat car with marble load. Their still listed on their site with two other EJ&E flats with loads on their reservation form sheet with prices but all on hold. I've contacted Dave a while ago and was told the hold up was the loads for the flats and finding someone to make these? My first instinct would to go to Hays Brothers as they make some really good loads that fit just about all manufacturers cars or could modified to do so. I'm going to keep waiting as I really would like to get these cars but hope I'm not to old to enjoy them when they do come out!

I have a customer that has been waiting for some DeLuxe Santa Fe box cars for close to 5 years now.

Dave just got most of the molds back, and are starting production back up.  So hopefully we'll see lots of stuff from them soon.

I placed a pre-order for DI-74611,-74612 & -74613 back in September 2008, DI-713111 & - 713112 in December 2008, DI-75411, -75412 & -75413 in August 2009, DI-140511, -140512 & -140513 in December 2009.

What about those NP round roof resin boxcars factory painted from GHQ?    I called them on the phone and gave them my credit card info probably 8 years ago.

The CN eight-hatch reefer and NP round roof reefer were announced at the same time, with the CN reefer being released in kit form a couple of years ago.  So there are various products out there that have been announced and have not been canceled, but have yet to see the light of day.

This along with the Deluxe precut foam storage boxes with have
lots of demand and zero production.  Why arn't these made, i love
selling them on ebay.

Dont feel bad guys, its not just in N that "vaporware" exists in.  I've been waiting almost 5 yrs now with a small deposit on a G scale GP60.  Thank you crappy economy and chinese manufacturers for that fail.... :RUEffinKiddingMe:

Yeah, that's definately a sore subject.

What about the PRR F39 flats from N scale kits and the GHQ R50b's. Two models I was really looking forward to getting my hands on. Thanks
