Work?

The labor accuse only works when you can make the same money in less time (or easier) than building the thing.  So unless you can make $20 an hour easier than it is to stick these two part together, it's not an excuse.  If you can, you're probably overpaid for what you do, so congrats.

Not to mention the guy deserves to make a little profit. What is wrong with somebody filling a need and making a little money in the process. Very few people actually want to build their own unit and are willing to pay somebody else to do it.

The swatter I bought was $2.99 and I bought a "fancy" old metal shaker for around $4.00. So $7.00 to build mine and it could have been cheaper. Just sayin' $25 sounds about right to buy one to me, not $40.  Besides I need to save my pennies for David's daily NZT releases.
