I saw this N6B at the station in Harrisburg Pa. along with a GG1. Researching I discovered the N6B's were both offset and center cupola types. Thought it would be an interesting model. I had to scratch the cupola. I used the body of a Model Power offset cupola. I had to move the cupola forward a bit, sanded the body and roof. Plugged and scribed the sides. Then I cut new side and end windows, framed them and used coated black thread for the new window panes. added a new stack, MT couplers. New endrails, interior rails, cupola rails and siderails........................................

Nifty! Those N6s were really common. Strangely, they came BEFORE the iconic N5s.

I think that a lot of those were rebuilt from older 4 wheel cabin cars (got to use the right terminology when taling about PRR).

Hey, I know that caboose.  I shot this picture when the CRHS Express stopped in Harrisburg back in October 2009.  Fantastic job.
