“non-directional on when function on”

I’ve installed a digitrax DZ123 in a N scale BLI PA-3. Because there’s no need for a rear light, using DecoderPro, I’ve remapped the rear light to function as a front Mars light in the upper light position in the nose. The Mars and the headlight turn on and off independently just like I want.

For both lights in DP, I’ve selected a behavior of “non-directional on when function on”, so regardless, these lights should stay on unless intentionally turned off.

But when I reverse the engine direction, all lights turn off.

I need a solution please, if anyone has one.

It involved the mapping pane AND selections in the light pane. I also wanted rule 17 dimming so if the lead engine was running in reverse or stopped the main headlight dimmed. I really need to find instructions on the mapping pane. I thought I really liked DecoderPro, but this pane is just more complicated than I expected and sometimes, maybe always, the lighting selections are dependent on the mapping settings.
