This is just a great scene of the dying anthacite industry gasping for it's final breath... and looks like they used the Walthers mine kit.

I have often thought about doing a CR layout based just on those old coal branches up there. I couldn't get the SW1500s, but the rest of it is a cinch.

Of course, I think it'd actually be pretty boring to operate though, being just a coal conveyor.

Wow, I had no idea that place was loading cars as late as 1987. Latest car loading records I found in there were from 1980...
