Interesting news on the cab forwards, will they have specific details for each of the versions or just a different scheme/number? (I don't have my SP books with me right now to check on the detail variations for each class).

And here I was about to buy some X29 kits.  Gonna save a lot of work, although I'll still have to convert them to the proper BX express trucks.  Thanks!

I have got 2 Geeps and 2 SD's on the way.  Also a NP Geep.  I am really trying to decide on the FT's.  That is a big hole in my roster, no graybacks....I would really like a F7 re-release in the Q!

Richard,

Are all the PRR car numbers on the X29s lettered for Railway Express Agency, or just some?  I could use a little of both the normal freight-lettered circle keystone and the REA service, actually.

I would too, thus I could have a couple of 3 units ABA sets, with my 4 IM F3's and 2 F7's  8)
FWIW, I believe one of my F3 cab # (123) eventually ended with one F7  added (#167 ???)
My only gripe with IM F's is that they have only one nose light casing while they received a Mars light casing pretty early in their career (51 ?)
but I can live with it for now  ;)
Kato F3's have both lights casings, but they haven't issued them in grayback...

I fell in love with IM graybacks since I received my CB&Q F3's and ran them on a Unitrack oval  ;D
I like the FT's look too, and since they were traded-in 62 or so, I suppose they witnessed some of the early 2nd generation 'motors'.
So far, so good  :)
