Since I decided to go to Timonium on Sunday I did a couple hours railfnning at St Denis Saturday. The Baltimore dispatcher let this train out of the yard hauling flats that carry work equipment. GP40-2 and a GP-30 slug. Unfortunately the GP-30 was the second unit.
But wait. While the train was nearing Jessup the dispatcher called and said they gave them the wrong cars and return and pick up the proper work equipment. Apparently there were 3 different string of cars and somehow they mixed up the loads. So now I get the GP-30 on the headend.
Sometimes ya gotta love how CSX operates.
