Bachmann's UK subsidiary Graham Farish announced the imminent release of another new ten-wheeler at the weekend along with quite a few other goodies.

Very cool!  What can you tell us about the modern looking buses in you subsequent photo montage (in the linked thread)?  The single deck ones in the upper photo look late 1970's  to early 1980's European -which means they have promise for being bashed into US models.

Very cool, and there's a Deltic too! :D

Those Lafarge/Castle cement tanks are nice for the modern modellers, I've seen those on the rails pretty often.

Re the single deck buses, the white one is good for late 70s to the present, while the blue one is good for the 70s and into the 80s - might even stretch to the 90s in rural areas or as school charter bus, they were always old and worn out when I was going to school so an ancient bus would be right.

I for one always wanted to do a couple of british steam passenger trains. I wonder how easy these would be to throw some DCC at and run around a couple of coaches.

I have a ton of the British stuff and it's a lot of fun to run them.  The Terrier that Dapol makes is tiny and there are several sites showing how to put a chip in that.  I have several of these new 10 wheelers on order and plan to dcc them as well.

Question is, how well do they run? If they are close to spectrums that would make life pretty sweet. I have a soft spot for british steam. They would look great next to my modern unit trains...  ;D
