yes.

The cement containers should be box car reddish with lots of printing on them. I believe the cement gons were only used in certain areas towards NY/Jersey.

Yes, the flyer does note new vs. reprint. Strange that their website does not.

The BN car represented (456559, which is pictured in Dave Casdorph's BN Color Guide to Freight/Passenger) is a Gunderson 4692 which is fairly close to the Evans car, except the Gunderson has the horizontal seam down the middle of the car like the FMC 4700's.

I wish they would do the BN Magor car, but I may pick this one up....the price is workable.

I was disappointed when they released the Seaboard on this model early, which represented mid-1960s Magor car and would take creative kitbashing to make the car more representative without damaging the deco scheme.  I have picked up two or three subsequent models which are based on actual Evans prototypes, body-mounted couplers, changed out the wheels to 36", and been extremely pleased with the way they look.

I bought one of the MILW's with the thought of removing the lettering and making the BN out of it.  Tried a variety of things to remove the lettering before carefully dabbing on some 70% alcohol which instantly removed whatever paint it managed to seep onto...  > ...so now it's completely stripped and missing stirrups and some grabs. (so far)  The only mod I was aware of for the BN Magor was 3 vertical ribs on the car ends, but I haven't really researched it exhaustively.  But I now have a clean slate to work with, inadvertantly.   :

Did you document the body mounting on this somewhere?  I will probably do that, too.

Think I'll pick-up the BN Grain Hopper and an NYC Gon w/the cement containers.

No doubt there's oodles wrong with the NYC concrete car, I can see it being a big seller.

Actually they did pretty well on these. The road numbers are correct for NYC Lot 656-G (501212-501241). The prototypes were 46' not 52', steel, straight sides with fishbelly type center sill. They had vertical staff brake wheels, not as on the MTL car, but this car is the closest they have to the prototype. The containers were painted oxide red with lots of small lettering on them. Since MTL did not print the lettering, it would be easy to repaint the containers. They need a lot of weathering anyway due to their cement service. Actually, the car was freight car red, not black. The NYC didn't start to paint gondolas and flats black until 1956, and it is uncertain whether these particular cars were ever repainted black.
A modeler could add the five large rectangular openings on each side. These were for servicing the air-activated containers which stayed in the car. Styrene bits could be used to model the supports on the floor and side rails of the car.
