Wheel cleaner

Saw this new to me wheel cleaner on E-Bay and was wondering if anyone here has
tried one of these yet. Looks like it would do a good job at cleaning. Any
thoughts?

Interesting looking device.  Haven't seen one prior to now.  My only concern would be if its Japanese N scale, its 1:150 instead of 1:160.  MIght make a slight difference with axle spacing, etc.

Jon I recieved the wheel cleaner today tried it dry  and then used a little alcohol and it work quite well .It is well worth the money

I just tear a piece of power towel, apply some 91% rubbing alcohol, lay it across the tracks and run the engines/cars over it.

Works well.

This is how most of the members of our club clean wheels.  We try to use Viva towels because they are thicker and don't give off as much "fuzz" as other brands.

I use a very expensive piece of apparatus - a cotton bud (Q tip) and some Brasso, gets them cleaner than alcohol faster but a PITA to do a lot of loco's ;D ;D

Just wanted to add my 2 cents, I bought one and really used it the last couple of days. I also applied some alcohol to the foam pad and sat the locos on to run for a couple of minutes while I cleaned nearby track or whatever. Really cleans good, imo.
