You guys should have done the first one as an auction to benefit toys for tots or something - to generate good will - and then no one would complain about anything that followed...

It's called innoculating yourself from future criticism....

The car has SOLD.

Thank you everyone for the input and for looking at this unique offering.  Keep in mind that price and value are not directly related.  Perceived value is dependent on personal opinion; some will find value in an item like this, others won't - neither are right nor wrong.

In the end, this car found a home with someone who holds value with the quality workmanship from Tom Mann and the fact he will be the first person to own a BLMA Models PS-4000.

For everyone else, our production PS-4000's will be here in March, and they feature all of the detail you've come to expect, and a price of only $24.95.  :)

I'll comment on this when i get back from China...some manufacturer has me weathering 10,000 O scale Thomas' right now...

Just think the price you could charge if this car was DCC equipped?

Your contact specifies 'non-leaded paint' one would hope.

The hopper looks very good, did you use a proto pic?

Very nice Tom! Glad to see there is going to be a higher level product out there for those of us who are looking for and happy to pay for that level of "German Engineering" in the Model Railroad world!
