Craig, Bluford,

Any chance these might be available separately?

The main difference is the actual brake rigging, and the slope sheet brace.  The Atlas 55 ton fishbelly includes the separate appliances, but that's it.

MT sells this:

499 65 935 $5.20 Hopper Brace/Brake Hardware  18 pc.

Does this mean you get enough to do 18 hoppers? :P

The MTL kits include the horizonal braces, air tank and valve and the stirrups. I'm not sure if they included the cylinder. They don't have the diagonal slope sheet braces, the vertical brake rod or the levers from the cylinder.

Atlas's recent 2-bay offset side cars do include the diagonal slope sheet braces, the air tank, valve and cylinder. The vertical rod is molded on the body. The only thing missing is the levers from the rod to the cylinder.

The new Bluford Shops cars have all of the above as you can see in the photo. I must tell you, it took me a good half hour to assemble the parts you see in the picture.

We'll look into the practicality of releasing them as separate parts.

Maybe, but they still need to learn to read. Put C&O Cabs in Reading boxes at the Atlas Factory.

Skibbe, I have a hard time believeing you MiNiModuTrak guys are actually 14 year old Chinese girls.
