Here are my first trees.  Yes, after all this time I'm just making my first trees.  I'm kinda happy with the first ones and can't wait to see what I start making after a few trys. 
Please let me know what you think.

I like the tree a lot, but I do think a light trim might look better.

textures are great, but the shape is a little off.  A trim would help as Jason and Bernie said, but I would find some photos of real trees and try to copy their shape.

The trees are great, but maybe it would be better if the shape would not curve so much. It looks as if the hardwoods wanna go the the left or right.

Here is my next installment of trees.  I went big this time and worked on some Ponderosa Pines this time.  I used dowel rods and some decorative plant from Michale's art store that I painted flat dark green and added foam.

Very nice!

Silflor makes a product for pine trees that looks intense.  You would use it in place of the foam.
