Ok, I'll throw my hat in - anything in a 40 or 50 foot (including 53 or 57) flat that is marginally prototypical for KCS anytime between 1970 and 2000.

I can live with the Wlather's IC/ICG GSC flat for now.

...As for new flats, yes, they are on my hot list to be worked through in September when the tooling is decided for next year. Not sure which one though...as always I lean toward SP and a nice F70-10 with the proper SP style stake pocket locations, or even an older Harriman Pressed Steel flat would be hot...

How about a F70-6 or dash 7 instead? Either of those two were pretty darn close to the car series which was the bulk of WP's flat car fleet, @ 300 cars and using that I could do the tandems and the drywall bulkhead cars too. Dash 10s were welded construction If I remember correctly. It's easier to take rivets off than put them on and the other manufacturers are doing welded cars.

of course it's a 60' flat (59' 6" to be exact according to my Oct 67 ORER).  i just think it's so cool and love to share it
