Not my layout, although I've influenced MANY decisions, and painted the fleet of locomotives. After his mish-mash of GEs and SDs are retired, and replaced with GP40-2Ls and GP38-2s, we're going to begin tearing out most of the scenery and replacing it with higher quality Scenic Express and Silflor products (Currently its mostly Sedum, and Woodland Scenics stuff).

Looks good. I have a question about the scenery colors.

Are you going for the "red" look?

I ask this because I've often found that with modelers with protanopia often end up making "red" layouts because they see them as green.

The scenery was done several years ago by a kid on a limited budget, so I think he just used whatever was available. The new scenery will probably be "greener" with the use of more commercial products, instead of plants picked from his backyard.

In person, the scenery looks more brown, but the green plastic sheeting covering the unfinished ceiling, combined with photo lights and a bounce flash makes it look very red. And yes, it was done on an incredibly limited budget using Sedum plants, which I plan on airbrushing the foliage green and adding ground foam to. They were added in a hurry because of an operating session deadline, otherwise I would have already done that.

I actually lik ethe look of the unaltered sedum for some trees in HO.  But I look forward to the next iteration of the product . . .  :D
