But whats blue light sky simulation? I don't really speak "advanced photography methods" yet... 
it has something to do with a blue-tinted led flashlight reflected against a white piece of posterboard behind the scene. The light source bleeds through the scene to create a sense of atmosphere. I wrote a photography article (in ancient times) that talked about it.
