   This is a revisiting of this old topic. Finally with a Picasso (Picassa) account I can include photos that are not attachments. Here is a photo that shows wah you can do with stock buildings,a kit built garage ,fencing has now been installed around the buildings and along the right of way. Thanks Bob Gilmore for the photo. I like it. Great job varying the ground cover.

You can use the larger photo sizes from the dropdown in picasa too.

Nice job , but that is more of a home and garden than a farm . As much as we like trains , that being on a curve so close to the tracks , and the change in sound going over that bridge has to be scary noisy . If it were mine I would put some business that wouldn't suggest that people sleep there . That or play off the setting with some dark humor by putting a clinic for curing the unfortunate with post traumatic stress syndrome .

  The photos that I posted here before were attachments direct from the photo storage in my computer,but when I tried to send one acouple of months back I got the message the storage for my attachments was now full and there was no easy way to empty or dump it,so I finally broke down and did the off my computer Picasso (Picassa) thingie, although I wish I could have just ported them over from n-scaler.com where they are in a gallery. Oh well live and learn, yes I realized after posting that large file sizes can be sent. Thanks for the comments. Notice there is no space left at the end of the farmers field to turn a tractor around in. Nate Goodman (Nato).

That's a real nice ranchette and I like it.  A few things standout that could  improve your modeling. I'd remove the base plastic below the barn. Level  and weather the house some - make it look more run down. Maybe add a few old cars up on blocks and a horse or some pigs running around. Ya know, make it look like real Okies live there.  ;D ;D

  The base has not yet been blended in, covered with scenery, somewhere I have stashed away some Bachman pigs that I used om my old layout, I just  haven't dug them out of storage yet. Yes ths is still an on going work in progress. Bob Gilmore who took the photos is constructing an RFD mail box, and that entire end of the layout is slated to recieve lineside poles, more ground cover and trees also a UP type canterlever signal bridge over the tracks. The barn has interrior details from Bachmann like the old Revell HO version had, stalls etc so removing the base is not an option, only covering over it with ground cover. Nate Goodman (Nato).
