When you look at them in a normal view, you really don't see or notice any gap. These are nice buses!

You can't see the gap when viewing at N scale size.  The switchable signage is nicely done - basically a black "slab" with the destination lettering printed on the long edges that can be pushed out with a stylus (included), rotated to show the other side and reinserted into the opening.
