Good score at MBK today...

So I'm trying to finish up the RDC's this weekend, weathering and DCC, I do the normal hike out to Cockeysville to get parts and get some other tidbit to squirrel away until I have room for the grand layout...aka a House.

I picked up one Digitrax DCC decoder (only one, gives me an excuse to payoff the AMEX bill and make the hike next weekend), the Blairline A-Z Car Sales and lastly the ATSF 6-Room House (it reminds me of the old homes in between Rt 40 and Frederick Rd. As I was shopping, Charles and Chubby arrived said hello, and well goofing around we started looking at the website on the PC's in the back of MBK. They are having a huge Walthers Sale to match the Close-Out sale at Walthers.

I picked up two Walthers Cornerstone Roundhouses for $29.99 each, just need 6 more stalls....

Are you going to rebuild the side walls so the roundhouse looks like one around here, or are you going for "Generica"...

A little bit of both...I will add features that make it fit something similar but not an exact model. Im really "in love" with the service facility buildings, (eventually) my version of Hagerstown has the concrete tower, and facilities etc. I'm going more for a persona of a large service facility.

They also have Walthers GP38-2s for $29.99 and Difco cars @ $8.99.

I managed to resist.
