Walthers Refinery Kit

So, my project for the last couple of weeks, my project has been to put together the walthers refinery kit ..

It has lots of ladders, platforms, guard rails, etc on it .. most molded in a bright yellow .. ostensibly some OSHA requirement

But, if you look at this facility in Baltimore,  none of that seems to be the case. Is the yellow stuff a figment of some designer's imagination?

I am inclined to go with a more "steel" like color .. will the NSCALE safety police come after me :)

Yellow would be pretty appropriate, as you can see in the posted pics. I was in an ammonia/nitrogen products plant for a short term job during their maintenance shutdown and all the safety rails ladders and cages that I can remember were in yellow. You get a real nice view of the plant sitting on top of a 200' tall urea distilling tower.
