Wow, that's not good. Did you bring this to their attention? Since this is their line of work, it seems like they would have an interest in fixing the problem.

Well, the S I could live with, but the W wasn't going to work, especially on the distinctive WM speed herald on the noses of things.  The O and U wouldn't have mattered, unless someone really wanted South Branch caboose done! ;D

I seem to remember contacting them about it... I may not have... but I'll try again to make sure.  I also just sent a fussy e-mail to Micro Scale about the absence of appropriate lettering for later WM F units...  They very politely said they would look into it.

Shouldn't your reporting marks be LVR instead of LRV?  I would have thought Laurel Valley Railway or Railroad.  What does LRV stand for?

LauRel Valley...  Think NicKel Plate...  Actually years ago, a friend of mine did an HO boxcar for me, and he came up with LRV.  I used LV back when the concept was a Conrail spinoff, being as that particular combination could plausibly have been inherited from the predecessor <Insert Gregg's comments to the contrary here>.  But in 1970, the Lehigh was still extant, so I needed the extra letter.

CDS is still in business, for the time business. This Canadian firm was able to get me five sets of NYC transfers, straight from CDS. Be patient with the Canadian postal system. Took about a week to get them from CDS, a little over three weeks for them to arrive after that. Good communication, not a bad price. 14.50 Canadian, including postage.
