I'm experimenting with an idea for old concrete.. with rebar sticking out..

what do you guys think?  I need to give the bars some rust..

Very cool. Is that anchor bolt cement?

it's just plain 'ol plaster, with some black pigment added for the gray. The re-bar is actually that knit sheetrock tape... I painted it black and laid it in with the plaster.  it's a bit harder to pick out in the smaller photos.

Just have to google for some cement loading dock pics :)

Just look at OK highway bridges for rusted re-bar showing thru the roadway.

I think the big fingerprint in the center of the carside is an especially nice touch.  ;)

I was sanding drywall that day... there are big white fingerprints all over the house now! ;D

The idea was to show off the load... I grabbed the first gon I could reach...

I prefer small unmarked bills, neatly wrapped by denomination, and placed in a brown envelope next to the flag pole at the veterans' monument in the park between 2 and 3 a.m.  Don't bring the cops, as you will be watched... 8)
