Lots of the "classic" well-known model railroads used paper/cardstock structures in "O" and "HO" and they looked very fine. I photocopied plans for a building from MR years ago onto the heaviest paper that Kinko's had. Then I made "layers" of paper and added various thicknesses of styrene. Looked nice on a module 'til another module fell on it in transit...life of an N-TRAKer. ::)

If you're looking for more projects, there are plenty of drawings already made on the Historic American Buildings Survey site - http://memory.loc.gov/ammem/collections/habs_haer/. Like the B&O's Harpers Ferry station.

Thanks for the tip, I have been trolling through that source for several years now. If I can get some free time, I have several new buildings ready to produce, some from that collection.
