Chris has a lot more layouts than you, just ask him for hints on how to stack them. ;-)  I've been trying to convince him to sell one for a long time...

The diorama idea is neat, just so you have a memory of the layout.  Like Lance's Monon layout... it's really hard to archive someone's home layout.  So, I'll hang onto this diorama as a tribute to a great layout:

I don't collect much in the way of special runs, etc, but I do like to collect examples of good modeling from good modelers.  I picked up a few gondolas from the fire sale at N Scale Supply to display on here as well.

Donate it to a museum or old folks home and declare a $5000 tax credit for it next year:~)

on a serious note... one of the bantrak members is @ Charlestown off of Wilkens Ave....he conned them into donating a room and he has an HO layout set up...

i think your n-scale would fit there as well.....and you know he has the rolling stock....

contact the Marketing Director there and she would accept the donation and you could take market value or more.

win win.... you take the donation... the layout gets used by someone who is too old to do a nice one himself...

(que background harp music) .... you would get that ohh so familiar warm fuzzy feeling inside.....

Ed - hold on - I have a brilliant idea!  You could - wait for it - donate it to a hospital!

That's what I was thinking. Give it to a children's hospital (if he has one near) with a locomotive, and some rolling stock.

Ted's at Oakcrest Village. He just conned them out of the adjoining room too.
Charlestown's owned by the same company though. Maybe Willie Don likes trains?

How much did Bernie get for the paper mill module he sold on ebay? Just curious...
You`ll never find a Philly cheese steak on a menu in Philadelphia. It`s called a cheesesteak and we all know where it`s from...
