Gondolas are an area of N scale rolling stock that are sorely lacking. I wish the manufacturers would produce a few more prototypes. The problem is, there are so may prototypes to choose from, and many railroads ran cars that were unique to them. I model Conrail, and I have photos of at least 50 different classes of cars. Most of which are unique to Conrail and its predecessors. This doesn't bode well for anyone to produce such cars. My fleet consists primarily of Micro Trains 50' 14 panel fishbelly cars. They are pretty close to the Pennsy G31 subclasses. Since nothing else is even close, I am happy with these. And if you model PRR/PC/CR, you have to have gons. Thanks.
