Title: Modern abutments in n-scale
Post by: ridinshotgun on November 28, 2022, 09:45:10 AM
Is there anyone that does modern poured concrete bridge abutments in n scale that are not part of a kit like the Walters ones?

I see some z scale stuff on shapeways and some of the older board cast stuff from chooch but my search foo hasn't found anything modern except for the modular honey comb walls.  I need something that would be appropriate for one of the 80' ME ballasted concrete deck bridges.

You can always pour your own...

Poured concrete is very easy to simulate with a few thoughtful slices of sheet and strip styrene.  The trick is to get a believable color, and apply the appropriate amount of weathering.
