It is the 12th of August and IMRC still has not posted its August releases, although one dealer seems to have posted some information. I know they'll release some milk reefers and I'll probably order the Baker's Chocolate one. but I understand there's also an Indiana Harbor Belt boxcar. I never thought I'd see a steam era DT&I boxcar (thanks, Atlas), and now if there is to be a steam era IHB boxcar, Hosanna!! 8) 8)
Guess they are all off at the NSC convention. :(

As nice as those milk cars are, Gregg, any recollection of any of them running on the Pennsy in the 50s?
I know the Huntingdon-Philly cars were Suplee. The HO guys have an accurate AccuRail model, but no decals as of yet.
I just got copies of 250+ CT220s (passenger consist reports) and it is really neat to see the variety of head end cars from other roads on the Pennsy trains.
EDIT: The HO car is from Roundhouse, not AccuRail.

Okay, I'll bite. What Acccurail HO model is accurate for a milkcar?

Sorry, Marty, it was a Roundhouse car...
I had queried an HO Pennsy modeling friend over the milk cars so I wouldn't have to repeat the research. I erred in the manufacturer name because I didn't reread the emaIL. He indicated the model is readily available and they are working with Ted Cullota (sp?) on decals.

Jerry, doesn't Athearn make the same car (either under Roundhouse or some other name) in N scale?

Athearn makes a 40' Pfaudler (sp?) in many schemes, but I'm told it's not correct for the Supplee cars...

I was looking at the Baker Chocolate car. I know the Baker Chocolate tank cars were seen in PRR trains and the particular car also clearly says "liquid chocolate" not milk. Besides, I cheat - already have milk reefers from Atlas, Roundhouse, and Athearn. That's why I have one P54 rider coach. ;D ;D

Marklin makes a Baker Chocolate tank car in Z scale.

InterMountain has posted this month's releases, updated the Coming Soon page, and published four flyers for new releases down the road (including the milk tank car).

I think this is supposed to be there too.

Yes. I got it in my dealer mailing. They seem to have flyer 131 linked twice!
