You don't still happen to have that SD70, would you? Looks like an Overland, and I have one in NS that I love; would make great trade fodder for some more retro goodness...

And at least for me, some of the pictures don't show up. Sorry if it is and I'm just wasting pixels, but it very well could just be my internet.

And pretty sure I only have on CR engine with me at the moment, but nothing to even pose it on!

Sorry @ChristianJDavis1  that was a decoder job I did for someone.  Really nice loco.  Good luck in your quest!

Big blue?!
But which one?

Maybe some GE...

Or maybe some EMD?

So many in the case to choose...

Even an O scale hiding in the back.

But that's not even my whole fleet. It's about half. Do I need so much Conrail?

Why yes, yes I do!

If it wasn't for the structure mock-up, I woudl have said this  is a photo of the 1:1 train.

It is amazing how realistic the track looks in a photo taken from this angle!  I thought you Photoshopped the N scale models and background into a photo of 1:1 track.  The coloring, ballast, and the track undulations all add to the illusion. Stunning!  I assume that you used a cell phone for this eye-level photo. The deep field of focus also contributes to the realism. Did you use any focus stacking on this shot? Double-WOW! Jaw-droppingly real.

I don't have the blues ... (I model 1975 ).

Maybe someday I'll move it forward to May 1976 so I can model this one:

Cellphone upside down so that the camera is directly above the rail top. Then yes multiple photos at multiple depths and focus-stacking after.

The track is handlayed also, which adds to it.

hi,
My model pix have become corrupted so no model to show (I have a pair of Atles -2, not accurate but close enough for the 'end-of-era' modelling I may do one day), but here's the data for the 1983 purchase of D&RGW desperate for additional engine power east of the Rockies with run-through alignments increasing traffic range and density.

"Purchased second-hand from Conrail. Had temporary unit numbers until repainted in 1984-1985, in a darker orange color than rest of fleet. No low-nose headlights on these units." -Jim Griffen.

I was thinking the same thing...cropping a pic of the loco models on a proto track pic.  The low angle makes this look very realistic.
