BLI Pennsy J1 coming?

I have been exchanging emails with the rep at Broadway Limited over the past week regarding a few issues, and the rep mentioned that the PRR J1 2-10-4 has been designed by BLI in N scale.  He said as well that they expect to release the I1and H10 in N scale over the next few years.  Take it for what it's worth!

That's interesting. A well placed member in the PRRT&HS just responded not 60 minutes ago to a question if BLI had any N-Scale steam projects and the answer was "Not currently, but we're always asking..."  It may well be they haven't consulted the PRRT&HS as they already have the J1, I1 and H10 in HO and presumably all the research needed.  I hope that's the case. I would be interested several copies of all three engines.  Plus the J1 could become a C&O T1 which is another interest of mine.

Mine too! Let’s start a rumor. Since the C&O HS is producing the George Washington passenger set, and BLI just released a Greenbriar in HO scale, and I just bought a Bachmann Northern to convert to a Greenbriar, all the signs point to BLI producing a . . .

I been on them over the years about any PRR but mostly a Q2, J1 I1 and sharks and lets not forget the Reading T1 all in N. They already have them all in HO.

:D  I have a number of Con-Cor 2-10-2's in stock as the driver size and wheelbase is pretty close to the J1/T1 so there's another push toward that combo...

I am really hoping for a J1 and an I1.  Could really use them on my planned PRR freight layout.

If BLI releases these locos that may be enough to make me give up doing a '60's era PRR with 2nd gen diesels.  Hopefully they'll stagger the releases to soften the blow to Mr. Wallet...That could hurt...alot!

I've been hoping for an H10s for quite some time. I'm all in for one, maybe 2... and an HO scale one as well.

I have a weakness when it comes to that engine.

If they do the H10 in N I'd be up for 3, especially if they do the LIRR version with the later tenders. I have 3 of the HO ones.

I'd also be up for G5s and E6s in LIRR

I'm in for multiple H's and I's.  I was never a fan of the J, but I might be persuaded to pick one up, since it is prototypical.

I’d be in for a few of each of those. However in the case of the J1 I would rather have a C&O T1. I figure if they do the J1 they’ll do the T1 also. I’d love to have one to run at the Hinton Rail Museum.

Just in case anyone from BLI is reading this, I’d be down for one. Not sure of the minimum radius of the Con Cor 2-10-2, but I hope these J1s could negotiate 12 3/4” curves on my layout.

Another vote from me on all of these - a pair of Js, a handful of Hs, and likely one of every I1 number they make, $$ permitting.  We'll know its on the way for real when the teaser photos start to show up on their FB page.

Would love to see a C&O T-1.  The NKP didn't have any 2-10-4's, but I'm sure I can find a rationale for having a couple on the layout!
