Just thought I would show the somewhat finished pics of one of the MT-4's Phillip Johnson and I have been working on.  Urethane MT-4 casting on a modified Bachman J class mech...... I still need to file the engineer side rods and add a few more detail and removed the cross head brace..... and I am sure there will be a few other things!

A little more progress on the Erie built project.
I went to a show in Madison, WI Saturday where I picked up a Broadway PB dummy to use the chassis for a B unit shell I had.
Details are all applied and the B is ready for paint.

Stardate 72-387.5… For three weeks now we have been circling the planet known as “Nutin Apnin” in the Too Busy system… Repeated landing parties to the surface have failed to return and we are now totally out of nameless red shirt guys  :scared: … Frustrated and with our Warp Engines out of commission I have assigned Scotty to build a “Vacation Drive” using nothing but duct tape, hay wire and that stupid thing Uhura has stuck in her ear all the time… Once free of the planets gravity we will travel to the Mexico system to resupply so that we may return to blast the planet with “Photon Give’r Hell Rays” for five days… If the plan works we will be able to make our rendezvous with the USS Andy Thomas in the Calgary RPM sector on March 9th… Spock thinks the plan is futile and all Bones can say is “Damit Jim, I’m a Doctor… not a module builder!”… Sulu is too busy monitoring the new surveillance cameras he installed in the men’s locker room to help and I can’t understand a damn word of what Chekov is saying! So this mission depends on me… I believe we will be successful as long as we do not encounter any green Space Chicks along the way that may need my “attention”  ;) … KIRK OUT!

After the work hours I have been putting in this month.. and the character building challenges of the CRS-20s I will be looking for a Scotch Whiskey Solar System.   See you on the 9th!

I have A Fist Full of Dollars, and a patients that has gone from The Good, The Bad, to The Ugly.
Any longer and I'll start looking like The Outlaw Josey Wales.

That new MT meat packer reefer looks scrumptious, and now I'm seriously considering buying a Con-Cor baggage and RPO (PRR of course).

I have a small contribution this week.

Story is The Grande Valley Railway bought this old CPR GP35 and rebuilt it into a GP38-3.The red paint was still in great condition so what you see here is the only (so far ) red GVR locomotive ever.Managment is however looking at some CPR GP38-2s that Joe's Used locos has for sale.

I should have noticed this sooner... I'm glad that at least one person on this board has been able to get away with some freelancing.

It sounded like a good idea at the time... too bad the caboose wasn't in on the plan.

Oh, Railwire’s own Gary Hinshaw is the rookie dispatcher next week so please give me your opinion on let how kind I should be to him 

I am happy to report that no one was killed in last night's session; that despite me sending the helper set down the wrong side of the hill to meet its train...

Here are the finished products from my bench today. I finally got around to getting some ATSF MOW cars done to go with the crane and tender I did a year or so ago.

Thanks , Mike
