Yes, it is a Helicon test shot.  Tim and I still have to work out these bugs before any photos would be submitted to "publications".  Sorry for using you all as guinea pigs.

Here is another of Tim's test shots.  The back end featuring two of Jeff Brigg's beautiful cabeese built from Kaslo kits....

Ummm, not a Pennsy fan, but if these fit in the mid-60s I have cash.

Mr. Denton - doff of the hat to you. My Father, a West Bend Wisconsin native (but not a railfan), stopped in his tracks as he was walking by my computer and your pic was up, and was greatly impressed. He actually paid compliment to my "weird hobby" because of you. Unfortunately, you just set the bar even higher for me when said "Now that's realistic."
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Yeah, when I saw that I decided to look from the outside of the ring this week...

Thanks guys!

Mark - Nice photos. Everyone should check out the 2012 Model Railroad Planning. Mark has a great article in there about his layout. Very thought provoking. Well done!

yep Lee; it's "Hoser week at the Rail..." ok eh ?

I finished the second C424 conversion; this one an Action red unit....

The carbody filters make this a very distinctive CP Rail MLW C424; these were a retrofit to the C424 replacing the original vents with the snow shields.

The rear was changed like the other C 424 but the correct double sealed beam lamps were put in (non functioning) The fuel tanks and like were added as well.....

That's a pair of "Hoser-ized" C424's for the Puddington Valley Division.....so, from the winter wonderland known as Peterpatch...'good day eh...." :D

I detailed a pair of Conrail SD70MACs and changed the road numbers since I had a few duplicates, thus 4139 and 4144 were born...  :D

I need to learn about the Helicon process and start experimenting with it.  Those are some awesome shots.

I completed my two new HO SP Signal Bridges this week in time for Springfield.
The HO SP Early style (Walong).

The HO SP Late style (Mojave). I have not received the decking for the Late style from the laser cutter, so I can only show the frame this week.

On top of more video experiments - Not a valid vimeo URL
I also started working on weather techniques on some modern RD4 units. This is a work in progress, but it is getting there. I have a LOT of these to do, so I'm trying to come up with an assembly line process. Stock unit is the right of the weathered unit.

Nice stuff everyone!
