SD40-2's back at FRTS

Did Kato release some stock they had sitting somewhere?  I noticed Chuck just put up several early SD40-2's for sale (minus the three I just picked up  ;) ).  Road names that are available include NS, BN, and CNW.  To bad they couldn't find any undec's, but the BN and CNW will come in handy.

Check'em out before they become vaporware again.. http://www.featherrivertrains.com/cgi-bin/webstore/shop.cgi?c=search.htm&categories=010001-011016

The "early" or first version SD40-2 is as good a running loco that's on the market. If I needed any more, I would jump on some of these.

Performance is amazing on DC and DCC, or with DC running a DCC loco. These locos have always "just looked right" to me.

A "western modeler" that also runs NS.

Seeing those makes me miss my sister CNW falcon services locos. One of my first "great" models I owned. Also one of the first subtle weathering jobs I did that came out perfect. Sigh.

Scrolling down I see some Rio Grande GP9s, sweetness.
