Loconet communications with Arduino

I have developed an Arduino-based signal bridge controller which needs to receive instructions over LocoNet. The driver can control 21 LEDs on three masts on the bridge. The bridge will be modeled after UP's signal bridges at Stege in the San Francisco Bay Area.

I'm hoping to save some development time on the next phase where the driver is to be connected to LocoNet. Does anyone on this forum have experience connecting a microcontroller to LocoNet? I'm interested in both the electronic interface and communications with LocoNet.

Cheers,
Steve

Check out the Loconet_Hackers group in Yahoo.  They do that stuff all the time.
