Nice work, and after going by Cisco never thought at all that it might be modeled.....good job catching the feeling of the real place. What are you using for the ground cover above if I may ask? I love the looks of it.Sumner
I'm probably 90% done with the Cherry Run module, and I just glued it into place. Still need to add some details (you can never have too many), have to add plants to the fenced-in garden area, then I need to seal the seam between the styrofoam and track, paint it, then blend everything in with ballast, grass and weeds. I'll post more photos in the layout thread. (Attachment Link)
I have a space I am putting a chemical plant on the lower level of my layout. Since I am modeling a specific area I wanted to actually put something together that was not generic. All I originally had were some blurry old aerial photos.
I've been working on this dust collection system for the Zumbiel Packaging plant ...I also picked up this little beauty as my America 250 tribute. Plus I just love GG1s. I designed/printed/installed better scale couplers since it had the giant Z-scale Marklin "harpoons". I have no justification on the current layout of course (maybe DIT to a scrap yard? But I'm not going to weather it!), although sometime in the future I might do a Princeton, NJ module circa 1980; I have already the 3D designs for the station and Nassau Tower since I was hoping to do that in T-scale a while back.
