Did you enable sharing for the album (under the 3 dots on the upper right)?

This photo from my May 29 album should be viewable by all:

No, not odd at all. You have the cookies in your browser confirming your Google account, even if you are logged out. Like Mark said, make sure sharing is enabled for everyone, not just friends or Google account holders.

Link to the album works for me, link to the image still brings-up the login box.

Not showing for me.  I assume it requires being logged into a google account, even if it's "shared".  (and I'm not)
