Intermountain SD40-2

It looks like the frame on #7614 is bowed causing the cab to tip forward or the cab leaning forward is causing the bow in the frame?

I found the issue with it.  The piece on the nose with the brake wheel was not glued on quite right, causing the nose to bow in, which in turn did not allow the frame to hook onto the body correctly, pushing the left side of the frame down and taking the cab with it.  I have reglued that piece and it fits a lot better, not to mention it is easier to take the shell off.

Another batch is marked as shipping October, though it's not what was marked October last time I saw.  My YN2 unit waits for at least another month.

Ah hah, that's why these started showing up on eBay already.  Thought they were out ahead of themselves, but appears not since the one seller is right down the street from IMRC.

So I got 2 MKT sound ones from MBK. The coupler cut levers on the front and the MU hoses on the back are glued on with pretty noticeable patches of glue.

Does anyone know if I would have any luck seeing if Intermountain would replace the units? I'll try to get photos to post later, but it's disappointing that units that are otherwise good (the cab numbers a little crooked), have great sound and cost almost $200 have parts glued on with patches of glue.
