What a blast from the past when I realized I grew up a mile from you on Oakdale Ave!  Too bad I can't make your open house as I live in New Hampshire.

The photobucket pix are blurred and covered by a Photoshop logo; and they don't download when I click on them -- just get ads from Photobucket.
Looks like a pretty layout, tho.

Ah, the great Photobucket debacle of 2017.  My understanding is that the entire management was let go after business tanked from Photobucket's poor decision to hold photos hostage unless you paid a $400.00 per year subscription.  There are those of us who will likely never go back.

Hey Ted - I live just 40 minutes from you (I model the CSX Cumberland Division), and will do my best to stop by this Saturday - would love to see your layout in person!

At 0:08, the best part of the layout for me, an abandoned RR bridge and right of way modelled in the foreground. Anyone else would have put an active track there. Well done, as it's something I can't recall ever seeing on a layout before!

Ted has extensively explored the stretch of line back in the days when you wouldn't get arrested and has consequently gone to great pains to model "how it was."  His goal nowadays is to scratch build structures (homes) reflective of what was in place, much like Spookshow's rendition of Hope. You will notice some mass produced housing models here and there.

Once when I was visiting, a man and his son were studying an area.  Apparently, the man was from the town being modeled (I'm not conversant with the place names for the geography) and related to his son how much it resembled the town.  The boy looked and pointed, saying "Dad, there's Grandmom's house."  Good job, Ted.

Really nice work.  I hope I can get up there to see it in person.  Thanks for leaving the track on that short segment of the WM you've got there.
