I have an HO Bachmann Northern (stk #50804) that has the dual mode sound decoder. The unit does not operate on straight DC. Based on several other locomotives the owner had, it seems the DC function is turned off. JMRI is having a problem reading the decoder and i would need to know which CV to check on a Digitrax DCS51.
I can't find alot of information about Bachmann's decoder settings. Does anyone know which CV(s) control DC operation and needs to be changed to restore DC operation? Also, what CVs does Bachmann use and what are their values?
I model in Nscale. I am trying to help checking HO equipment for a friend selling HO equipment.
