=================================================================

Regarding this question that came up on another thread... I researched buying a large quantity of this stuff
direct from the manufacturer.
I'd have to buy at least 2 gallons to get the cost down to a good point.

After calculating the purchase price, plus the shipping charges to me, and the cost of some nice tight-sealing
2 oz bottles, and shipping to anyone who buys it from me, I would have to sell about 90 bottles, at a total cost of $12ea  (and that would INCLUDE the shipping) to break even.

$12 is way cheaper than you can get it anywhere else when you consider the shipping (Micromark charges
$18 BEFORE the shipping, and PBL has the $25 minimum plus an $8 shipping cost).

But 90 bottles... that's a LOT of Neolube.

Throw a quick post in here if you would have any interest.  I will then promptly read all the
posts that say, "Yeah, I'll take a bottle"  and divide by 4 to get an honest count of how many
of these people really would buy.   :D

I would love to do this as a money-saving convenience for us all, but like I said...
90 bottles... that's a lot of Neolube.  I don't think I can make back the money.

So that's 25% of a vote so far  ;)

I already have a bottle that will probably last me forever, but if you go ahead and do this I'll buy another bottle from you.

I'm curious as to what you have on the workbench that requires a large quantity of this?

I've got lots of $hit on the WB and a railroad to build that could benefit from a small bottle of Neolube, but if I don't have any, where is the benefit in that?

Nothing.
But I have lots of projects that require a small quantity of this.   And buying it in 2 oz bottles is
just plain expensive, so I wanted to see how hard it would be to just order a couple gallons,
fill up a bunch of little bottles, and then have them to dole out to folks for $12 instead of them paying $25 or so.

I used it on a lot of steam metal surface detailing, and to weather track.  But it's good for almost anywhere you
want a realistic steel/metal looking surface.

In for two. I might want to do the track as was posted in some quality pics here.

I'm in for one, with an option for a second.

Hmm... I've got a 55
gallon drum of the stuff...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.

LOL, I thought you had discovered another use that actually required gallons...like to coat scenery to make static grass stand up straighter or something...

No, I said "Ed's Law."

Max, I would be in for one as well.

I have not looked but you might consider posting on TB too, to get the count up.
