As a person who loved to chase trains over Tehachapi in the SP/ATSF days, I am seriously sad to see this. I prefer this timeframe....

Yeah but without SP/ATSF it's kinda moot what they do to the track.    :D This will presumably mean more meets at the loop, so one might say 'wish they'd done this back in the days of bloody noses and warbonnets'.

Excellent!  The video quality on the first one is amazing.

I didn't realize they moved the signals at the bottom of the Loop.

I'm not a country music fan but I'll make an exception for that first song in that first video.  Anyone know that tune?

Nice to see a consist with no swoosh in it.  On the other hand, if that power move had been Santa Fe those 8 locos probably would have been 8 visibly different models.

Probably better visibility there than in the 'trench'.  Also, no need to crowd the CP since the siding length is no longer an issue.

Being born and raised in "BUCK-ersfield (Bakersfield)  I've been a life-long fan of true country and western....not the modern C&W stuff they perform today.
I started with nothing and still have most of it left.
