New Bridge From Central Valley!!!

Central Valley had a pre-production sample of a new N-Scale through truss bridge at the Northern Pacific Historical Association annual meeting in White Bear Lake, MN.  It will be available in kit form and made from injection moulded styrene similar to their HO products.  This is not an exact match to their HO version in that this is based on a Northern Pacific prototype.  I just about wet my pants when I saw this because I have been thinking about trying to acquire the old Overland Brass model at $300+ a pop, so at under $30 MSRP I will be able to do the four span bridge at Paradise, Montana for $120!  The production kit will have more details than the sample and should be available in 60-90 days according to the rep.

Eep!  Looks like the price of decoder installations will be going up soon...  I built their HO bridge for the club, and it's a beast...  Walthers and Kato step aside...  These will be a winner.

Oh man, nice! I'm glad they're finally getting into N. We've only been begging for how many decades?

Hmmm, now I have two Walthers double-tracks to get rid of...

Screw it!  Put a two span "little bridge" in somewhere.  Artistic license allows for good scenery to be injected as appropriate...

Sweet! Unfortunately I need a double tracker - so I'll stick with Wally's unless maybe if I drag my feet long enough the CV double tracker comes out. :P

I was contemplating one of the expensive versions of this. Now I can afford several. Plus it does look like a deck bridge is obtainable. There are a number of these around here.

Holy smokes... this must be a sign of the second coming.  It's been rumored for ages.

Looks like the Shasta Division will get some bridges now.  There are a bunch of these between Dunsmuir and Lake Shasta on the Sacramento River.

I thinbk you're onto something there. City Classics finally doing some more N scale buildings and now Central Valley. Too good to be true!!
