Older crossing gates

I'm asking if anyone out there in computer land has drawings for older lever actuated crossing gates. Like these:

There would be "people" up in the tower who would pull levers and bring the gates down. I need drawings for these. If anyone can I'd appreciate it.

What exactly are you looking for on them Chris? The lever activated ones are similar to the crank style and Conway Scenic has a hand crank one. I can get you detailed photos, but I don't have drawings.

Was kind of looking for scale drawings or at least something with dimensions. I found some drawings in a old Buda catalog, but no measurements. Mostly I wanted detail of the counterweights and the pedestal the whole thing is mounted to.

I know the WMRHS has books of standard designs that date from the 20's or 30's.  Is there an historical Society you might be able to tag for that kind of thing?

The Walther's HO ones must be based on something, and they're pretty cheap.  Buy a pack and scale them down?

I'm with Mike on that one. They look exactly like the Walthers crossing gates that come with their HO crossing shanty kit. I believe that they also come in the N scale "Track side accessories" set in HO and N

I built the set in HO for a friend and it goes together very good. So much so that I want to build it in N. You could probably bash the interlocking tower into your gate tower.

I have the Walther's N scale gates. There is no detail at all, just paint. If I'm going to trust them I might as well just try to scale the Buda catalog. I found this photo in MR to help guess the gate height.
