L&N's stealth classiness never ceases to impress me.

Check out the hairline around each of the letters and numbers. That, my friends, is the sign of a railroad that was proud of its image.

I like 'em, too.  That's why, when MBK was pushing them at a sale price, which, incidentally, was way cheaper than Walther's price is now, I bought one.  I just checked MBK's website, though; not surprisingly, they're out of stock.

The 0-8-0's were quietly blown out a couple weeks back also, they are down to just one or two roads. I had the other C&O number on my list to order and by the time I was ready to place the order last week, it was out of stock.
