Just taking a personal pole here. How many of you have pre ordered the BLI N scale Reading T1 ? I put in for three. We'll see how they are before i go with more. 2102 is the rock star right now on the east. Hope she can team up with 2100 once she is running.

I have pre-ordered the Chessie 2101 version. Looking forward to seeing her in action.
-
I would have pre-ordered a Conrail one..
-
I preordered an "in service" version.... I have no need for it... don't model Reading... I only have one Reading GP35 which is a candidate for a CR patch job... but I wanted one. That is a good reason, right? :?
-
The best reason.

For real.
That said, I'll probably go for a 2102 for excursion service on the NC.
-
I'll wait for the verdict on performance.
-
I ordered the AFT version, simply to have something more reliable than my old ConCor 4449 AFT, to run my partial AFT consist. Might end up getting another one, not sure yet.
-
I haven't pre-ordered yet but I am thinking 3 in service ones and 3 rail ramble ones. It's only money

I just sent them an email asking about a "2022 2102". If you're interested in the R&N scheme, there might still be time for them to sneak it in (and it'd be a hell of a miss for them if they didn't).
I mean, c'mon.

I too put in an order for a Chessie one. Hopefully someone can make some cars for it.

Curious to hear if they respond. I’m on the fence since right now ordering one means re-doing the tender to match the new RBMN scheme. Huge miss.

I'll let everyone know what I hear.
In their defense, the timelines for this are tough. The actual lettering scheme was kept well under wraps until the engine was out running around. In fact, it was even unlettered for its first few trips.
That said, I'll still probably prefer the more era appropriate BM&R scheme, but I agree this would be a real lost opportunity.

2102 sure looks a lot better than it did a year ago.
