Wait, so Chuck hooks me up with a Sunrise 5 chime horn he had stashed at the exact same time that Craig announces these.  Very sneaky.  I thought you were hooking me up, and instead you were clearing out old stock.  ;)

On topic though, this is really awesome.  You're the bomb, Craig.

This is very good news - I am sure that the loss of the Sunrise horns was keenly felt by modellers of American prototypes.

Hopefully these will do well and in time the future can be expanded.  Some worthy candidates:
Nathan Airchime K-5H (original Canadian high mount three over two forward)
Nathan Airchime K-5LA (low mount American tuned, five across all forward) often referred to as an Amtrak horn
Nathan Airchime K-5LAR23 & 24 (five across, two horns reversed)

This thread makes me realize that I know NOTHING about airhorns. I just look at a photo of a given unit and see what is available out there that is the same or similar.

Any of these horns used by CN on their SW1200RS, F7Au, GP9, GP9RM, GP38-2, GP38-2W, GP40, GP40-2L, SD40, SD40-2W, RS18, C30M or M636's?

Any of these horns used by CP on their SW1200RS, GP7u, GP9, GP9u, GP38-2, SD40, SD40-2, SD40-2F, RS18, RS18u, C424, C630M, M630, or M636's?
Welcome to Ontario... we've got a tax for that.

FINALLY! Now you just need to get your early EMD cutlevers in an etched format like the modern levers you have and you'll get my wallet for a lot of cash (on top of 10 of those early TTX 89' cars).

Why would we need etched cut-levers when we offer machine-formed wire Early Cut Levers?

I didn't even know about these until I saw this thread here yesterday morning. You can return the Sunrise one if you want, it's a collectors item!  ;D

BLMA's new address sounds like he took over a court house , or is doing business while on jury duty , or in jail .

Still
hunting parts with the "SP" bracket.  Hopefully a follow up item for BLMA.  In the meantime, I seek the out of production parts...

I'm just giving you grief.  This is proof that Mr. Murphy's alive and well.  The day I finally get my hands on a much needed part, it becomes available again.  I guess that means I have to figure out now how to get my hands on a SW1500.  In the mean time, I'll be on eBay hunting for old Kato SD40s; I'll keep buying until an updated model is announced.

Brass detail ideas:
Nathan 5 chime for CSX (as someone stated, these are a bit different)
Hood mount brake stand and wheel
Plows: small debris kicker, F unit
SP light clusters
Open light brackets with proper sized lenses or fiberoptics
MU hoses (I never liked the etched ones)
Bells (frame mount, hood mount, gong)
Speed recorders
Where have I been all this time?
Lost enslaved, a fatal decline
I've been waiting for this to unfurl, but
Pieces aren't always as good as the whole

Severed myself from my own light
Cut out the only thing that was bright
What If I never saw you again?
I'd die right next to you in the end

Craig,

One other detail item that would be really nice would be modern antenna radomes, GPS, Satellite antennas for locomotives. You could probably do 3-4 types on a sprue...
