I learned of this source of N scale resin automobiles earlier today.  He sells only on eBay at $5 per car.  The detail is the best I've seen on any N scale resin vehicle to date.  Look at this `72 Duster:

I've bought several of his cars and trucks.  I think he started by casting the Johnny Lightning Monopoly tokens but has since made masters of some unique vehicles.  I know that Daniel has had some similarly good experiences with his models.  His structures are also fantastic and unique.  He posts fairly often on the Yahoo N Scale vehicle group.  http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NScaleVehicleAssociation/

Hey, he's got an '84 Escort Hatchback.  I practically grew up in the back seat of one of those... well, it was a 5-door Wagon I guess, but looked virtually identical  Red on Red, hotter than a motherf*&%#r, with a vinyl interior that could cause 3rd-degree burns to the back of your legs on contact.  It was an extremely limited Diesel model that could easily get north of 50mpg, as I recall our best was something like 72mpg... way back in 1984.  With all the technology we've got today and many cars can't even get half the mileage that thing got a quarter-century ago.

Ah memories.  I've got to buy a few along with some of his other stuff.  I just am not a fan of resin vehicles as they just never look quite right with their painted windows.

I'll pile on with the cudos here - Will's stuff is crisp, clean, and fills a real need for 70's/ 80's era models (and stuff from prior years to rust up a bit).  I recently bought his '78 Dodge P/U front, and hope to have a build thread soon.

If you ask I do believe he has a catalog of his vehicles.Yeah I have a bunch including the new grain trailers which I have not seen in his eBay store except for once.



I highly reccomend his vehicles if for nothing more than the quaiity of his product.

I have one Road Apples clear cast truck.  I painted it for CGW MOW (bright red) and it never looked right as the interior was all red too.  Having not done another since, I'm wondering if they look better with an interior color painted first?

Oh man, I love it. Me too. My mom had a white one with a red interior, and then in high school two of my good friends had one, one was white with a blue interior, and the other was an awesome black with red combination.

They were all 4 doors, but I'll take what I can get.

I have one Road Apples clear cast truck.  I painted it for CGW MOW (bright red) and it never looked right as the interior was all red too.  Having not done another since, I'm wondering if they look better with an interior color painted first? 

Paint the body silver or gray primer first, any lighter color that is totally opaque.  Then paint the outer body color.  You'd want to do that anyway to keep the car from appearing semi-transparent.

This could be a good thing, if proper masking is done.  You could first put the interior color onto the outside and then paint the exterior color so that the interior color will show once the masking is removed.  The hardest part would be masking the windows.  Just wish he was doing some late-40s and earlier vehicles... most of what he is offering at present is too modern.

I have purchased several of his cars that I purchased from Ebay.  Fine details on these vehicles.  His structures are quite nice also.  And the prices are reasonable
