Looking for Athearn Napa bicentennial fire trucks
« on: July 08, 2010, 10:14:39 PM »
I have been using the Napa bicentennial fire trucks as kitbash fodder after I purchased a bunch for $7 each at a train show. I put a modern cabs on them to make a good mid 90's E-One Hurricane:

(The model on the right, not yet painted - this will be Natick's Engine 1)

Natick's former E1

Anyway, I would like to get some more of the Napa Bicentennial engines for future conversions. Anyone know where I can pick them up on the cheap?
Where have I been all this time?
Lost enslaved, a fatal decline
I've been waiting for this to unfurl, but
Pieces aren't always as good as the whole

Severed myself from my own light
Cut out the only thing that was bright
What If I never saw you again?
I'd die right next to you in the end
