Did you hear about the DL&W Fs that are getting done? I know you're on the E side of the EL, but you might appreciate them anyway.


If you're gonna do the E7, perhaps putting FARR grills in instead of the chickenwire might be interesting to take a look at.

I remember seeing one of those on the Southern about 40 years ago in Alexandria, VA.  On the rear of the Southern Crescent and Graham Clayton was on board.  No camera that day so no photos.

N&W built that one in 1969. I think NS ended up keeping the SOUTHERN version.

Those CSX Fs have been replaced with F40s now, which look really weird without the Amtrak paint scheme.
