Bowser trucks/couplers

For those interested in Bowser (Full Throttle) trucks and couplers, I've received notice that they will be going on sale shortly. Estimated price is $6.50 per pair.

That's good news indeed!
Do you know if they will be offering couplers as a separate item? for use in body mounted applications?
or is it only available as  part of the truck?

AFAIK, only as trucks with couplers, as shown. Separate couplers means new tooling, and I don't think Will is up for that just yet.

I do know that it's fairly easy to remove the coupler pocket from the truck intact. You'll then have to devise your own method of attaching it to the car. FWIW, I did it this way: http://jamesriverbranch.net/clinic_3.htm

Same box they use for all of their rolling stock. I imagine Will must have thousands of them.
