The process and material used by M4D are not like any of the typical RP products on the market. It is not a 'wax' on the model, but uncured photosensitive acrylic resin.

Alcohol and a toothbrush is the way to go. Might not get the goo off but after a while you don't care...and you have very clean teeth

Seriously, a gentle scrub with isopropyl or ethyl alcohol and a dry off with a cotton bud will work. We try and get the goo off as much as possible. We save the wash alcohol and evaporate it to leave resin that we recycle. At around $1000 a liter I can afford to leave too much uncured resin on the product!
Now back to the machine where I have some very delicate parts for an 1880s S scale Rogers 2-4-2 steam locomotive on the go.
